Following severe flooding in Walthamstow in July 2021, Synergy LLP appointed Inside Limited to undertake strip out, repairs, and reinstatement works at St Mary’s COE Primary School.
The floods severely affected the entire street, destroying homes and devastating the community. Due to the sensitivity of the conditions, our team was mobilised and on-site within days of instruction.
We soon learned of the passion from the community and especially the school staff, which helped create our driving force for the project completion.
Our commercial team established extensive knowledge regarding the premises, occupants, and surrounding areas while maintaining a healthy rapport with the staff members. We pride ourselves on putting our customers at the core of all business functions.
Our commercial team completed: mechanical, electrical validations, CCTV drain survey, boiler room layout, separation of the mechanical system between GF to Level 1,2; creating a mechanical system drawing which never exits, Boiler room drawings/layout, asbestos survey to all GF etc.
It was essential to re-open parts of the School for the new term in September, and with all parties working together, this was achieved. The second deadline was to re-open the early year’s block for the new term in January 2022, which was also achieved in time.
